Katie - Hurrah For Gin
Getting a bit bloody sick of everybody now to be h Getting a bit bloody sick of everybody now to be honest.
The older I get the more I realise that I don’t The older I get the more I realise that I don’t actually like a lot of parts of Christmas. I don’t like the unrelenting guilt that everyone else seems to be having a more Christmassy Christmas than you. The shopping, the tat, the pressure. The tickets you didn’t get for ice skating/the panto/seeing Santa because by the time you got round to looking, it was already sold out.

The fact there is always something on the list that hasn’t been ticked off, something else that needs to be bought or wrapped or prepped or posted. And I certainly don’t like Kirstie Allsopp’s handmade bloody Christmas.

But what I do like is getting home, putting my pyjama bottoms on and having a cosmopolitan on the sofa at 5pm, because that is fucking great.

So whatever you are doing this Christmas, put a bit of time aside for pyjama sofa cocktails. They are the key to festive happiness and I swear by them xx

So excited to be able to share this with you - Lot So excited to be able to share this with you - Lottie B is back with even more embarrassing exploits and this is the new cover!

It has been an absolute joy to write for children and see them resonate so much with Lottie. I really hope that they will enjoy this book as much as the first.

It's out on the 3rd March and you can pre order via the link on my profile. Happy Christmas :) x

THE BLURB....
Lottie Brooks is back for spring term at secondary school and ready to face anything. No more trying to impress mean girl Amber. And absolutely no more being nicknamed Cucumber Girl.

A lead role in the spring musical gives Lottie a chance to dazzle her mega-crush Daniel with her talent as a singing crab but it's not all singing and dancing at Kingswood High. Lottie's friendship with Molly and Jess seems to be falling apart no matter how hard she tries to keep her BFFs together.

Is Lottie on track for another epic friendship fail?
I’ve had so many lovely messages over the last c I’ve had so many lovely messages over the last couple of weeks from parents and kids who have found a lot of comfort in Lottie Brooks! Thank you 😍
If you’ve not got it yet it follows 11 year old Lottie as she starts her secondary school journey, totally friendless and full of self doubt.
It covers al the highs and lows and embarrassing moments of being almost 12 and it might be of comfort to anyone going through the same.
Available in all the usual places online and your lovely local bookshops 😊 x
